What we need.
We are looking for an experienced Analyst to join our Commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager the focus of the role will be to ensure that our customer contract database is updated and maintained and any analysis is provided. This will involve the following:
- Review and maintain customer contracts database
- Perform run modelling, costing and analysis
- Calculate rates for uncontracted jobs/trips
- Manage customer and subcontractor annual rate reviews and monthly fuel price review
- Support in the maintenance of accurate cost models
About you
You will be a self-driven individual who is results focused and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. You will demonstrate the following:
- A relevant tertiary qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ experience ideally with cost accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, in particular presenting reports to a range of stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to organise and summarise data for reporting
- Business acumen
- Strong systems skills and advanced Excel is a must, Power BI is an advantage
