About The Job

Liquid Death is looking for a Financial Analyst to assist the finance team in a high growth environment. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for updating and maintaining financial models, tracking and reporting on financial performance, and delivering action-oriented business insights. This role will work cross-functionally with teams across the organization acting as a business partner to drive continuous improvement. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, detailed oriented, with a strong intellectual curiosity. In this role you will not only support the existing processes but also recommend and implement scalable solutions to create continuous improvements. This role will report to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build, refine, and maintain financial and operational modeling to support annual planning, periodic reforecasts, and long-range plan
• Track and report actual performance against budget with department leads to understand variances to plan, trends, and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide pre-close support to evaluate accruals and reclasses at month end
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis leveraging data from multiple sources to guide business decisions not limited to pricing, sourcing, innovation, and G&A.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for board of directors and external stakeholders and investors.
• Other strategic, operational, and ad hoc projects, as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or economics
• 3+ years’ experience in FP&A/strategic finance in the CPG industry preferred
• Experienced with NetSuite or similar ERP
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manage, simplify, analyze, large datasets
• Experience with 3 Statement modelling
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to synthesize, present, and communicate analysis to senior business leaders

Compensation

• The salary range for this role is $80,000 – $98,000 annually.
