Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking a Project Accounting Assistant with a collaborative work style, for our Charlotte Office.
The individual selected for this opportunity will primarily support our Project Accountants in our Charlotte office but will also work closely in supporting the entire project accounting team in a variety of clerical and general accounting duties. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, have excellent communication skills, demonstrate a positive attitude, and enjoy collaborating in a team environment.
Responsibilities include:
Project billing
Project Maintenance, including project setup, project budgets and general maintenance of projects in the Accounting system (BST)
Providing copies of backup, invoices and documentation to both internal and external clients
Assisting with processing consultant invoices
Electronic filing of Contract documents
General clerical duties within the Finance and Accounting department
The ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Experience working for an Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design firm
Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
Solid computer skills including Word and Excel, Adobe and accounting software experience
Project Accounting software experience is desired but not required, like BST, Deltek
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
