Livestock Feed Hiring For Warehouse Worker at Sherwood Park, AB Full Time

Trouw Nutrition is hiring… a Bagger Operator to join our team in Sherwood Park. Working with the production team, the Bagger Operator works with machines and with computer systems to produce animal feed.

Immediate hiring. No experience? No problem, we will train. Must be able to do shift work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure finished feed is sampled and inspected. Complete log documentation and food safety documentation
• Constant quality awareness: Complete bags with correct product tag; Verify correct Lot #s are pulled for order requirements (sampling process)
• Ensure accurate bag weight/run size is produced
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Adhere to the safety and food safety requirements per the company protocols
• Ensure orders are completed accurately to customer’s ordered requirements

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:

• Experience working in a Feed Mill or manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability and availability to work rotational shifts and overtime as required
• Positive work attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail. Willingness to learn
• Ability to work with a team but also self-motivated to be able to work independently with minimal supervision

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Full Time; Permanent, Shift-work

GOOD TO KNOW

• Must be able to lift 25kg; and ability to regularly bend and twist.
• Occasional requirement to work at heights, open and close lids
• Often exposed to loud sounds, distracting noise levels, and dusty environment.
• Must possess a valid class 5 license
• Have training and forklift driving experience (an asset).
