This role is part of the Operations & Service Group. This team is responsible for delivering on the promise we make to our customers. Operations & Service is made up of LIC’s Artificial Breeding, Diagnostics, Farms Management, FarmWise, Field Assist, Heifer Management and Herd Testing teams.

This is a fixed term role covering our peak season for approximately 9-10 months.

Reporting to an AB Support Lead, this role will work within a small, highly skilled administration team to provide seasonal support to the wider AB Operations and NZ Markets Team’s, this includes:

• A high level of transactional based duties using LIC systems and software
• Commissioning and programming of AB equipment / providing technical support to the field where necessary
• Planning and scheduling of AB Equipment and semen products for despatch to the field
• Stock Control and inventory management
• Customer service support

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experienced computing skills
• The ability to prioritise
• Successful track record in critical support roles
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team

As there is a strong element of query resolution, you must be comfortable working within agreed procedures and timelines, as well as thinking on your feet to ensure a successful outcome. Although not a requirement – SAP knowledge is definitely an advantage, previous customer service experience and strong computer skills are an absolute must. Due to seasonal demands, you must be open to flexible working hours and days.
