About the Role

This role is based in our Christchurch office as part of our Operations and Service Business Unit which is responsible for delivering the promise we make to customers on farm.

Your role will be responsible for:

• Supporting the AB Operations Manager (North or South Island) with people management processes including: recruitment & selection, payroll management, training & development, workforce planning and, daily supervision
• The storage and transfer of frozen bovine semen products within a warehouse environment. All products are stored in Liquid Nitrogen.
• Managing the despatch requirements of products and services for our domestic and international markets
• Assist in developing AB’s strategic and tactical plans to ensure we have the ability to create a quality customer service and experience.
• Focusing on continuous improvement and quality to ensure that we are delivering an exceptional product and service to our customers

About You

We are seeking someone with a demonstrated proficiency in Supply Chain processes and Sales & Operations Planning.

This person should have strong people skills including effective relationship building and communication skills. An ability to work under pressure and think on your feet is key.

An understanding of the New Zealand Dairy industry and the relevant experience or qualifications is desirable.
