Full-stack Web Developer Co-Op, Brampton, ON
Our Health R&D Data Science team is a collaborative group of colleagues who bring together expertise from diverse backgrounds and domains. We are responsible for exploring innovative data-driven and machine learning solutions to improve the health of our customers. We use industry-leading analytical tools to analyze data to help our fellow technology teams and business units make informed decisions to drive our innovative business.
We are looking for a passionate individual who thrives on deriving visualization insights from various health data sources.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, test, document, and validate data-driven Software solutions/dashboards to demonstrate the work of the R&D Health Data Science team
- Work closely with Data scientists within the team to develop interactive visualizations and machine learning software and coordinate API requirements
What you Bring:
- Proven knowledge of Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Proficient in front-end development with cross-browser and responsive UI design
- Familiarity with SQL and Web frameworks like Flask is helpful
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as HighCharts, Chart.js, or similar is a plus
- Proficient in using Git
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas in a concise manner
