Local Chicago State Farm Ins. Agency Hiring for Insurance Agency Office Staff at Chicago, IL Full Time

STATE FARM INSURANCE AGENT seeks a property & casualty and life & health Insurance Licensed Agent Office Staff Representative. You’ll be responsible for answering all client questions or concerns about coverage, policy changes, and billing. Be able to discover gaps in your insurance plans. Discover additional needs and be able to quote & cross sell these existing clients + develop new clients to quote and sell our State Farm Insurance products. (Applicants must POSSESS active PROP & CAS & Life/Health insurance licenses for this position or be able to obtain ASAP)

Responsibilities:

• Resolve insurance customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service on the first contact
• Quote, present and sell insurance & financial products and services to existing and new developed sales customers
• Prospect and contact potential insurance sales customers
• Set follow-up sales appts to keep customers aware of latest developments

Qualifications:
Must have very strong follow up, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills – Applicants must have strong computer skills – Insurance Agency experience desired

Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is highly preferred but candidates with the appropriate skills should still apply, training is provided

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.

Pay: $20.00 – $32.00 per hour
