Clare County Council are looking to recuit part-time retained firefighters at the following

- Kilrush
- Shannon
The employment is part-time. The initial employment will be for a probationary period of one year. Applicants must have obtained a good standard of general education and be aged 18 years and over.
A candidate must hold a Class B Drivers licence on date of closing date of applications.
A fire-fighter must reside and work within 1.5 miles (2.4 km) or within a reasonable distance of the fire station of the relevant unit. On receipt of a fire or other emergency call they should be in attendance at the station within five minutes.
