The newly created Logistics Support Team (LST) will be responsible for ensuring that inventory compliance and control activities are conducted, outputs are met and key contract commitments are delivered, all in line with our customers Annual Compliance Plan (New Zealand Defence Force), with the primary focus being units within Linton.
As the Team Lead you will be accountable for the day to day management of the team, providing direction, guidance and offer technical expertise and advice, in line with our customers’ requirements.

As the Team Lead you will be accountable for the day to day management of the team, providing direction, guidance and offer technical expertise and advice, in line with our customers’ requirements.

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience leading a small team, have an eye for detail outstanding communication skills with a commitment to deliver superior customer service.

Additional skills and experience we are looking for:

• Extensive experience in the operation of SAP or similar Inventory Management system
• Outstanding leadership skills, including people management skills
• Previous experience in stock take/cycle count coordination
• Well-developed organisational skills with a proven record prioritising and scheduling work to meet specific deadlines
• Full drivers licence is essential

To be considered for this role you must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. See minimum criteria below:

• most preferably a NZ citizen who has resided continuously in this country for the last 5 years, OR
• is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 5 years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, UK or the USA; and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZSIS

You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
