Great foot in the door opportunity to join Lockheed Martin in our Operational Ration Packing (ORP) team.

This role forms part of our Operational Ration Packing (ORP) team whose responsibility includes the assembly of ration packs on behalf of our clients, primarily the New Zealand Defence Force. Your activities will include picking, packing and quality checking of inventory for storage along with accurately conducting the receipt and issue of warehousing stock.
You will need an eye for detail as you ensure Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) guidelines are strictly adhered to in this area.

If you are keen to learn this may be the role for you as we will need you to sit your Food Safety Certificate (Unit 167), along with familiarising yourself with our numerous standard operating procedures.
Ideally you will have worked within a warehousing or distribution environment and be physically fit as there is some heavy lifting involved.

To be considered for this role you must be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential Government Security Clearance. See minimum criteria below:

• most preferably a NZ citizen who has resided continuously in this country for the last 5 years, OR
• is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 5 years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, UK or the USA; and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZSIS

If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.
You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
