Description: The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) team is seeking a high energy AI Data and Metric Analyst with a strong background in engineering, architectures, engineering, and systems to support the factory optimization and computational engineering portfolio for the business. In this role you will be part of an advanced manufacturing and analytics team consisting of colleagues possessing varying skill sets including; front-end and back-end developers, engineers, specialists, product managers, and other scientists. The selected candidate will focus on the computational engineering portfolio but will be included as part of a broader range of projects across the LAIC portfolio. The team is focused on innovation teams that rapidly iterate and mature solutions from prototypes to deployment for utilization across the enterprise.
The AI Data and Metric Analyst works closely with customers defining requirements and developing metrics, key performance indicators, algorithms and dashboards for solving complex business problems aimed at optimizing business performance. The chosen candidate will be engaged in the technical execution of metric and dashboard development activities across the full life cycle, including requirements generation, system and design, implementation, integration and test while ensuring the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools are applied on assigned programs. The candidate will possess a passion for conceptualizing, building, testing and maturing digital systems. This candidate will apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in the field to tangible, differentiated and meaningful solutions aimed at significantly enhancing business performance and enabling future capabilities.
The selected candidate will lead a range of projects including short-term sprints (rapid prototyping) and long-term engagements (integration, maturation of prototypes). The individual will be responsible for leading sprints, providing technical mentoring, making innovative contributions to the of new business opportunities, product line road maps, and supporting new business captures. The candidate must exhibit self-motivation, a strong work ethic, time and interpersonal skills.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
• Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing on intensive programs
• Proven experience leading virtual teams
• Proven experience developing requirements and architectures for deployed systems
• Strong and proven understanding of the engineering process
• Familiarity with one or more of the disciplines (e.g. Natural Language Processing, Anomaly
Detection, Markov Chain and Monte Carlo (MCMC) Methods, Predictive, Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis Testing)
• Strong working knowledge of basic statistical concepts such as point estimation, probability distributions, hypothesis tests, and how they can be applied
• Ability to multi-task

• Knowledge of Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Matlab, BOBJ, etc.)
• Experience with multiple languages, both traditional compiled (C/C++/Ada/) and interpreted (/Typescript)

• Basic understanding of web application using C#, VB.Net, .Net Core, Angular, and SQL Server.
