 ABOUT THE ROLE:

Lockheed Martin on behalf of our customer, NZDF are responsible for running various stores around Waiouru Camp. These are predominately utilised for soldiers who are participating in exercises in the region and at time can be very busy. 

As a key team member of the warehousing team, your responsibilities will include preparation of stores and equipment for issue and return along with general warehousing duties including equipment maintenance and stocktaking.  Primarily you will be based in the main store but we are looking for a flexible team player who is happy to move between stores as the business needs arise.

ABOUT YOU: 

We are looking for the following skills and attributes within Waiouru:

• Very good attention to detail
• A good attitude to work and supporting your team mates
• High level of integrity and ability to work unsupervised
• Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence  
• Physically fit as some heavy lifting is required
• Warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential
• SAP experience within military environment is preferred but not essential

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
To be considered for this role you must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.  See minimum criteria below:

• most preferably a NZ citizen who has resided continuously in this country for the last 5 years, OR
• is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 5 years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, UK or the USA; and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZSIS

You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
