Job Title: Child Missing from Education Officer
Salary Range: £31,590 – £34,809 plus Essential Car User Allowance
Actual Salary Range: £27,171- £29,940 plus Essential Car User Allowance
Working Hours: 36 Hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only
Barnet Education and Learning Service is a company wholly owned by Barnet Council, delivering the Council’s education services to schools, children, and young people.
We are looking for a strong candidate who is passionate about safeguarding. The role is to ensure children identified as missing from education and their families, are supported by the Local Authority to secure their education. You will have excellent multi-agency experience and be confident to liaise with both external and internal professionals.
You will need to be enthusiastic, committed to the values of education, and able to organise your work efficiently and effectively. Full supervision and training will be provided.
This post carries an essential car user’s allowance. You will therefore need to have a full, valid UK/European driving license and daily use of a vehicle.
Barnet Education and Learning Service is flexible in recruitment for applicants that are either part-time or full-time.
