The Faculty of Epidemiology & Population Health (EPH) are seeking a Faculty Administrator, to join a small and friendly team in the EPH Faculty Office to assist with the co-ordination and management of the Faculty’s resources. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Faculty Administrator with administrative experience in a university or similar environment who is organised, proactive and has a collaborative and flexible approach.
The post-holder will work closely with the Faculty team, the four Department Managers, the Faculty Taught Programme Directors, members of staff in Central Services and the wider LSHTM community. This is a wide-ranging role encompassing Human Resources, Finance, Communications, Events, External Relations and Research Operations and would suit someone who enjoys working in a varied and dynamic environment. It would also provide an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career in the Higher Education sector, with multiple career progression avenues and excellent in-house training.
The post-holder will have minimum of higher education to A Level, or equivalent, and relevant experience. Further particulars are included in the job description.
The successful individual will receive 30 working days annual leave per year, pro rata for part time staff, discretionary “Wellbeing Days”, access to membership of the Pension Scheme and My LSHTM Extras, saving you money on gym memberships, vacations, restaurants, entertainment and days out, utilities, clothing, the latest technology, food shopping and much more. You will also have the chance to work from home, with minimum requirement for being in the office only 2 days a week.
The post is full-time (1 FTE) and permanent, however applications for part-time working from 3 days a week (0.6 FTE) will be considered. The post is funded by the Faculty and is available immediately. The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale Grade 4 in the range £31,211-£35,502 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.
