The School of Law and Social Sciences at London South Bank University is seeking to appoint an Associate Dean for Education and Student Experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, outward looking, multi-disciplinary teaching and learning community committed to a socially just, globally responsible approach to higher education.
We are looking for a well-qualified Senior Academic, Professorship is available for a suitably qualified candidate, in any one of the School’s constituent disciplines (Law, Education, Social Science) to help take us to the next stage of our development.
Our ideal candidate will have a well-established national profile in one of our constituent disciplines, a proven commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and a sustained track record in both the scholarship and leadership of teaching and learning that puts the student at the heart of our work. They will have a good understanding of the policy and regulatory environment that we operate within and bring first-hand experience of building effective communities of practice that support high quality learning and teaching experiences. We particularly welcome applicants able to demonstrate creative and innovative approaches to teaching and learning that have led to improved outcomes for a diverse student body and would welcome opportunities to challenge and develop our pedagogical thinking.

note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.
