Senior Mobile App Developer/ Engineer

Description
In this role, you will work remotely and focus on developing a cloud-based payroll and human capital software/app as a senior mobile developer/engineer. You will design and develop the next generation mobile applications for a leading technology services company based in the USA. You will work integrating with third party applications. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, meticulous, innovative, and possess excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Code, test, debug, monitor and document changes for apps
• Know the development environment of Android and iOS operating systems
• Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality
• Keep constantly up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding
• mobile apps
• Use and adapt existing web applications for apps
• Work closely with other departments to constantly innovate app functionality and design

Key Applicant Qualifications

• 5+ years of iOS or Android
• Knowledge of and experience with the mobile development lifecycle from UI/UX models to publishing in stores.
• Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, Java, etc.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including testing, code review, etc.
• Experience with writing unit tests in JUnit, Expresso, etc.
• Familiarity with the design paradigms on the various platforms.
