The role
Sendle makes shipping more affordable for small businesses, while at the same time providing a 100% carbon neutral delivery service. Since their launch in 2015 they have experienced a lot of growth, and recently closed out a $45 million Series C funding round. With their remote first engineering team continuing to grow, they are looking for a senior software engineer to join their Product Engineering team to help build and scale their global platform using Elixir and Ruby on Rails. This role would involve working in cross-functional product teams, on projects such as integrating with eCommerce platforms, improving the way customers manage their parcels, or integrating and connecting courier networks in innovative ways.

About you
You have commercial experience in dealing with scale, system design and architecture, have worked with a JavaScript framework like React, are open to learning Ruby on Rails and Elixir, and know your way around SQL and PostgreSQL. You understand what good engineering practices look like and are comfortable working autonomously as well as in agile development practices and TDD/BDD. You have great written & spoken communication skills and are hungry to learn while helping others grow alongside you.
