Lord of the Flies is looking for a full time Store Manager to manage the day to day operations of its Cuba Street store.

Wellington is our busiest store , loved by locals and an established part of Cuba streets vibrant inner city life.

You must have strong leadership skills to help make this place even more successful than it is now. You must also have great work ethics, reliability and punctuality. Ideal candidate should have a relevant tertiary qualification in management obtained in New Zealand OR three years’ work experience in fast food/hospitality industry at a similar role.

In this position you will be responsible for

• maintaining excellent quality of service by ensuring the maintenance of guest service, store presentation and product quality;
• selecting and training the staff you want to work with and motivate them;
• ensuring high productivity by appropriate stock keeping and cost control;
• actively promoting the store;
• maintaining positive staff morale;
• being responsible for the financial performance of the store;
• ensuring the store’s presentation and quality of products and service is always excellent;
• ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety.
