Your Job Purpose

As a Mecahnical Engineer working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the semi-conductor sector. This job is based in a state-of-the-art facility in Kildare.

Working with the LotusWorks team as a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for managing the site Bulk Chemical Delivery (BCD) Systems.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling a commitment to safety and quality and Own safety within the area of influence.

• Have the required Microsoft Program skills for generation of reports and good excel experience.

• Become a System owner for sustaining and continuous improvement of existing BCD Chemical delivery systems (CDM’s).

• Understand system reliability and availability and manage any scheduled or unscheduled down-time and mitigating any risk to production.

• Be the primary point of contact for any customer queries or troubleshooting for system under their ownership.

• Experience of interpreting P and IDs and flow and pressure components required.

• Problem solving skills. Be able to apply critical thinking when examining systems with reliability in mind. Have had some experience with Scada Portal systems or equivalent pressure and flows monitoring of systems. Be able to intrepid the data and act on any corrections needed.

• Ability to multi-task and work with minimum direction, to be self-motivated with own initiative.

• Must be able to work in a diverse team environment and collaborate with other BCD engineers in the area.

• Supports Shut down projects and help co-ordinate/Track. Be part of a Module Teams and represent systems they are involved with.

• Attend 8am daily passdown on site and take ownership for any issues with system under ownership. Work with Technicians in development of Procedures to implement fixes.

• Have a good understanding of AOD pumps, valves, flow meters, flow and pressure calculations, chemical analytical testing if possible and some if possible Chemical knowledge will be a help.

Requirements

• The successful candidate will have an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 2/3 years industry experience.

• Literacy in computer operating systems and applications such as MS Office Suite Products (e.g. Windows, Word, Excel).

• An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
