The Role
Manages the Billing Systems & Operations development team. Drives production through motivation and leading by example. Responsible for all training of new and tenured team members. Acts as a point of escalation for Complex Billing development issues. Provides business leaders with updates on performance including route cause analysis to drive continual improvement.
The Main Responsibilities
Manage team of 7 web developers & architects, including acquisition, training, performance review, and retention
Develop and maintain test plans and procedures for all web projects, including defect tracking, tracking and reporting metrics, and fixing defects
Maintain web system architecture to ensure enterprise-wide consistency
Manage workflow and scheduling, including handling prioritization issues, and communicating progress to stakeholders
Maintain documented and up to date code repositories
Conduct code reviews, including continuous integration and continuous deployment, and report findings to developers
Develop technical vision for web applications, including integrations with business processes and APIs
Identify opportunities for increasing efficiency and effectiveness of web systems, and recommend and implement solutions
Identify and address discrepancies in how developers work
Provide technical guidance to partners, vendors, and team members
Document and provide support on web system configuration
What We Look For in a Candidate
Acts as senior lead on major projects and point of contact for high level escalations. Drives Automation and Innovation within the team to remove manual work and improve CFS Processes. Escalates within IT support to resolve system discrepancies and to develop system enhancements. Provides CFS support to all Product roll outs and entity mergers to ensure robust processes and good customer experience. Meets with high level Customer when required to promote team and functionalities available within CFS. Provides support to SME when requested and for some OOO activity. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related field. 5 – 6 years of web development experience. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, .Net, MVC Frameworks, SQL and Oracle Databases. Experience with content management systems and website databases. Great written and oral communication skills.
