Summary:
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for conducting customer service, implementation, documentation, day to day repair and preventative maintenance for various transit agencies and clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day repair issues at various clients.
Conducts routine preventative maintenance of Luminator equipment at client’s site.
Assist in the implementation design / installation of various Luminator products to client’s site.
Provide hardware / software training and support to client.
Represent Luminator to build better customer relations with clientele.
Provide technical support for Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing & Customer Service.
Good communication skills, including ability to clearly document field modifications data, test reports, trip reports and expense reports.
Support warranty and non-warranty retrofits via the installation and troubleshooting of products and systems on new and existing installations.
Work safely within applicable standards, practices, and guidelines. Including company policy, client policy, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory authorities.
Ability to compile and submit required field reports, work timesheets and expense reports timely, within company policy.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to comfortably manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Ability to troubleshoot basic electronic operations and make sound technical decisions.
Must be able to calmly work with customers during demanding situations.
Must be able to work daytime and nighttime hours as required by the assignment. Extensive domestic travel for carrying out assigned tasks (up to 75%).
Demonstrated success self-managing assigned work.
Ability to work alone and in groups.
Familiarity with automotive wiring – DC, low voltage, etc.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.
Proficiency with electrical systems, use of voltmeter and other measurement instruments.
Proficiency testing and documenting voltages and measurement.
Proficiency using small tools, power tools, and hand tools.
Understanding of basic IP networking.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
A combination of one to three years of directly related training and/or experience.
Professional license or related training helpful.
A+ certification strongly preferred.
Training:
Company and product specific training will be provided on-site at our Plano, TX facility.

The employee may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to perform constant work on computer.
Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
