To make Johnnie Walker as the most LOVED, most DESIRED, most TALKED ABOUT brand among the new generation of LDA+ consumers, the Senior Brand Manager will be responsible to develop a robust brand marketing & business plans to grow value share. The role will also collaborate closely with the commercial team to plan and provide necessary marketing tools and information to enable the success of marketing and sales plan.Â
Annual Business strategy
– Create the annual business strategy documentÂ
– Work with Commercial leadership to firm-up volume growths for entire portfolio.
– Finalize the overall financials including price increases, trade discounts & marketing budgets
– Track monthly performanceÂ
Portfolio strategy
– Creation of Annual Marketing plans including pricing strategy, Route to Consumer strategy and initiatives to identify and drive growth.
– Monitor all aspects of brand performance and recommend strategic / tactical changes in direction to ensure objectives are achieved.
– Communication with Sales to ensure clear and consistent understanding of brand strategy, commercial objectives, activation plans & distribution strategies to ensure implementation of agreed strategies and / or activitiesÂ
– Close contact with key customers / outlets and consumers to ensure clear understanding of consumer needs / habits / preferences and industry trends.
– Monitor competitors’ movements / activities and recommend reactive / proactive strategies.
Channel marketing plans
– Manage and work with all relevant external agencies to ensure clear understanding of brand’s objective & strategy. Develop & implement activities to the highest level of professional excellence.
– Monitoring, control and evaluation of advertising and promotion spends. Ensure deployment is done effectively and efficiently.
– Develop creative promotion campaigns for specific outlets in relation to promotion objectives.
Business Development
– Identify business opportunities for exploitationÂ
– Rationalization of product mix to improve brand contribution.
– Drive RTC programs along with commercial teams to unlock business opportunities.
