Macdonald & Company Hiring For Assistant/Finance Manager (Real Estate) at Singapore Full Time

Our client is a prominent real estate investor in the region with impressive investment track record and global institutional investors. With over $150 billion in total assets under management, they have presence across key APAC markets (China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, India, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. 

They are looking for a Fund Finance Asst/Manager to join the team in Singapore.

Key responsibilities: 

• Review accounting and management reports for holding companies in Singapore prepared by service providers
• Review quarterly consolidation accounts provided by service providers
• Assist in preparation for quarterly investor report for Funds and co-investments
• Liaise with tax advisors on tax filing and submission
• Prepare monthly, quarterly reports and ad-hoc deliverables requested by investors and head office
• Review annual statutory and non-statutory financial statements for investment holding companies and limited partnerships in Singapore
• Liaise with external auditors to get the annual statutory and non-statutory financial statements signed off by auditors and management letter issues resolved
• Handle and liaise with outsourced corporate secretary for investment holding companies
• Work with analyst to determine projected capital calls and expected distribution amounts
• Review capital call and distribution notices prepared by service providers
• Review actual vs budget results
• Review and approve payments
• Cash management of the Fund and each investment
• Support deal acquisition and divestment by providing Finance related information
• Review overall financial controls and suggest improvements
• Assist in any ad-hoc projects assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in both commercial fund accounting and audit (specialisation in real estate fund environment is a bonus)
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous with details and accurate with numbers
• Possess an analytical mind, results-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment
• Possess strong learning agility and an eagerness to pick up new challenges
• Independent and able to initiate
• Familiarity with real estate funds tax structuring is preferred
