Mack Molding, a leading custom plastic injection molder (https://www.mack.com/services/injection-molding/) and contract manufacturing services supplier located right here in Vermont, is excited to announce part-time molder positions are now available at the Company’s Cavendish, Vt., facility. The shifts are eight hours with the flexible options of two, three or four day workweeks.

In many cases Mack functions as the manufacturing arm of its customers, a responsibility that can be met thanks in large part to the team members working in our molding department. If you have the knowledge, energy and drive hit the ground running in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, Mack would like to give you the opportunity to work on projects for some of the top fortune 500 companies, as well as start-up companies. You will help launch innovative technologies across a range of industries, including medical, industrial, transportation, energy/environment, computer and business, and consumer products, while contributing to the Company’s worldwide reputation as a reliable injection molder and contract manufacturer.

Responsibilities include:

+ Operating various assembly, production equipment, and hand tools

+ Operating injection molding presses

+ Operating presses and equipment in a clean room environment

+ Performing secondary / value-added tasks and operations within cycle times

+ Handling, assembling, and inspecting product and parts

+ Performing quality inspections

+ Performing floor work / material handling duties

+ Preparing and packing parts for material handling and/or shipping

The ideal candidate will have previous assembly/manufacturing experience along with a high school diploma or GED. Successful candidates also will have the ability to see, read and follow instructions/procedures/policies, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and cooperation.
