Macquarie Group Limited Hiring for Cloud Engineer Job at Sydney, Australia Full Time

Join our Risk Technology team as a Cloud engineer and be responsible for delivering to a group-wide system-led transformation to create leading Risk Surveillance Platforms. You will be part of a Scrum team and will contribute to the team’s end-to-end delivery of new features, which involves discussing requirements with the Product Owner and collaborating with the Technical Lead and Product Owner on building a Surveillance platform on AWS Cloud. You will be primarily involved in the coding of functionality and services, facilitating system & user acceptance testing, deployment to AWS and production support.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- at least 3-5 years’ experience with AWS Cloud Services and DevOps processes
- experience working with Unix, Shell scripting, administration and automation
- a client focused engineer that can bring stakeholders along the agile delivery journey
- great teamwork , collaboration and communication skills with an opinion on how software is built, packaged, deployed, maintained and improved
- a strong customer focus and a willingness to own the end-to-end delivery of features that provide business value.
It would be a bonus if you also bring:
- AWS Solution Architecture certifications
- application monitoring and dashboard experience e.g. AppDynamics , Splunk, PowerBI
- SQL / RDBMS Experience.
