About us

Mad River Barn is a boutique inn, restaurant and event venue located in Waitsfield Vermont. Our peak wedding & event season runs from May – October. Ski season and the busy restaurant months are December – March.

JOB TITLE: Front Desk Attendant

REQUIRED SHIFTS: Minimum of three nights per weeks. Full time available for the right candidate. Required shift is 3pm – 8pm, with more hours available if desired.

POSITION SUMMARY: Front desk responsibilities include answering phones, taking reservations, and assisting guests. Occasional assistance with folding laundry on heavy housekeeping days.

All MRB employees are expected to promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.

Full time employees are eligible for health care & four weeks paid vacation per year (two weeks in April, two weeks in November).

EXPERIENCE
No experience necessary, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
