Madden Industrial Craftsmen Hiring for Shipping and Receiving at Kent, WA Full Time

Our Kent based facility is seeking a Forklift Certified Stock Associate is an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. Possesses a demonstrated record of accomplishment working as a self-starter.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare merchandise to be staged for daily load out.

• Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents.

• Perform cycle counts as directed and locate lost inventory.

• Identify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately.

• Treat merchandise with care and concern at-all-times.

• Train and support new employees as they are on-boarded.

• Receives material coming from vendors, customers, or other locations accurately and promptly.

• Examine incoming materials and reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.

• Accurately place inventory in its designated location in the facility in an orderly manner.

• Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, rolls, or other containers.

• Assembles and fills orders to be loaded out.

• Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.

• Ensure facility is kept clean, and inventory is kept orderly.

• Keep a watchful eye out for and protect the safety of any and all company personnel when in the facility.

• Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.

• Other relevant tasks as directed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Forklift: 1 year (Required)
• Shipping and receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Loading and unloading: 1 year (Preferred)
