Position Summary
Provides support to transportation/yard operations by coordinating activities between internal departments, the customer, external carriers, and/or other Business units.
Role & Responsibility Specifics
- Coordination of Sea Freight/Airfreight imports
- Sea Cargo Automation Compliance
- Coordination of Carrier payments and delivery order release
- Manage cartage providers on a day to day basis to adhere to agreed KPIs
- Main focus on liaising with Customers on agreed delivery requirements
- Monitoring and actioning ACS and AQIS holds and booking inspections
- Effective and efficient use of our internal fleet and external service providers
- Reduction of client transport liabilities
- Meeting the commercial needs of the organization and contributing to one of its main revenue streams
- Able to produce and analyses quotes
