Magellan Health Hiring for Supervisor- Data Entry Specialist Job at Phoenix, AZ Full Time

Providers supervision to the Data Entry Specialist Team that supports the data entry of PCP Referrals received from Florida AHCA providers into the Health Axis system. Provides day to day oversight, coordinates daily reports for internal and external teams and interfaces with providers.

Coordinates and supervises the Information Processing Department.

• Coordinates all data entry functions.
• Supervises membership and provider eligibility verification process for each health plan.
• Supervises data entry of pre-authorizations into internal claims system of each health plan.
• Coordinates all Information Processing Department customer service functions.
• Supervises resolution of claims and eligibility issues.
• Assists Manager in implementation of new health plans.
• Maintains health plan and membership confidentiality at all times.
• Trains and supervises staff as needed.
• Works internally with the Care Center Management team, Clinical Operations management staff, Information Services, Privileging Dept., or other departments within the company to ensure prompt delivery of client services.
• Performs other supervisory duties and handle special projects as required by management.

Strong communication (written and verbal) and excellent organizational skills required.
The ability to interface effectively with other company departments and all levels of the organization.
2-3 years of customer service experience.
2-3 years of experience working for a health plan, including claims system and/or Utilization Management functions.
2-3 years of supervisory experience in a multi-function call center required.
