Role Summary

MASSIV Automated Systems, an advanced technology based division of Magna International Inc., specializes in the design and build of automated / robotic assembly lines for the automotive industry. Our areas of expertise include hemming (robotic and table top), laser welding, and assembly line welding. Our customers include other divisions within Magna and the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as General Motors, Chrysler and Ford. We are a true global supplier to the automotive industry! Our assembly lines provide a diverse range of automotive products such as doors, hoods, liftgates and underbody parts to customers in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Asia and Europe.

The Account Manager is responsible to gather all the needs from the customer and fully understand the project specific requirements. The Account Manager then effectively communicates with the processing team and staff at Massiv Automated Systems to provide the best engineered to order solutions the company can provide and communicate this back to the customer. The Account Manager is an integral part of the sales department who is motivated and an excellent communicator who will be the face of Massiv Automated Systems with the customer.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in complex solutions sales in a related industrial field.
• A Degree or Certification in engineering or related discipline.
• Successful demonstration of the key responsibilities related above.
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
• Strong Negotiation skills including any strategic selling or negotiation training.
• Understanding of welding and assembly processes.
• A high level of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Experience with AutoCAD, NX and Catia.
• Able to work, plan and meet customer driven tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel globally.
• High integrity, confidence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Collects project specific requirement from the customer.
• Develop a complete understanding of the customers engineering specifications, organizational structure and key purchasing drivers
• Lead and manage a dedicated Massiv Automated team to process the requirement, develop and estimate a solution.
• Present the offer to the customer articulating the details and value of the solution.
• Identify and develop account strategies that quantifies the potential long-term sales and profit.
• Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provide management with customer detailed feedback and suggestions for improving sales, market share and profit margins.
