Magnolia Business Centre offers a fun and fast paced work environment and is actively seeking personnel in our accounting department for our Tupelo, MS office. We are looking for a team player with a positive and proactive attitude that has the ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high degree of enthusiasm, professionalism, and motivation.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Responsible for daily reporting and record keeping tasks including data entry specific to financial records and receipts, checking data for accuracy and/or produce reports on this information.
Responsible for communicating with customers daily in reference to accounts receivable.
Responsible for auditing paperwork sent to customers.
Run accounting software programs to process business transactions like accounts payable and receivable.
Interface with departments to verify transaction report data.
Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records.
Ability communicate effectively with coworkers and clients / customers.
Interacting/problem solving with team members in the office as well as customer/clients daily by means of telephone and email.
Skills and Qualifications:
Computer skills: should be comfortable using bookkeeping software and computer spreadsheets.
Detail-oriented: responsible for developing accurate financial records and reports. They need to pay attention to detail to avoid errors and recognize errors that have been made.
Integrity: in control of the financial documentation for an organization, and this information should be used appropriately and kept confidential.
Math skills: work with numbers on a daily basis and need to be comfortable with a range of mathematical operations.
