Job Summary

The Junior Software Engineer will help develop, test, and maintain Magnolia’s systems and applications, making our processes more efficient and unlocking valuable insights from our data.

To thrive in this role, you should be an innovative problem solver who enjoys building and improving technology. You have some software development experience and are eager to learn and work with new tools to find creative solutions.

Essential Job Duties

• Maintain and enhance proprietary tech solutions, primarily using Python / Django
• Maintenance of Twilio Flex, including JavaScript plug-in enhancements.
• Support Azure Data Factory (ADF) transition through project-based work before moving into a support role.
• Assist in the administration and optimization of Power BI dashboards.
• Work with structured and unstructured data in Snowflake, SQL, and Python to support data transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to internal projects for AI-driven solutions and automation.
• Write, test, and debug code in various programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Collaborate with business users on application design

Education And Experience

• A degree or background in Computer Science is required
• 2 years of experience or master’s degree graduate
• Strong technical competency and a passion for learning new tools.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a small, collaborative team.
• An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving
• Self-starter who is motivated to succeed, has high energy, and demonstrated ability to think creatively when solving problems

Base Salary Range

The expected base salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $105,000. The actual salary offered may differ based on several factors, such as education and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
