Summary and Purpose:
The primary function of this position is to support daily operations of the terminal coordinator and to fill in for absences. Coordinate dock/office, drivers, and freight handlers to ensure productive operations of the terminal
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer customer calls regarding when freight will be delivered and assist with paperwork
- Schedule appointments with residential deliveries and business that require appointments before deliveries
- Enter information from pickups and close out trips
- Check the dock daily for missing freight, mis-shipped freight, or anything that might need to be fixed
- Check the yard daily to make sure wheel chalks are placed and the right trails are in the yard
- Load and unload freight off and onto trailers
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics:
- Knowledge and experience in data entry, Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle customer service issues calmly and professionally
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of general warehouse processes and procedures
- Forklift Experience required.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Or; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.

Schedule: Full Time.
Pay: DOE $18.00-$20.00 Hourly.
Schedule: Will be early AM schedule
