Main Line Dermatology Hiring for Medical Biller at Wayne, PA Full Time

Main Line Dermatology is looking for an experienced medical billing specialist to join our team! The applicant must be a team player and a quick learner. Job duties include:

• Responsible for submitting clean medical claims to insurance companies in a timely manner with correct procedure codes, diagnosis codes, and modifiers
• Responsible for entering co-payments, cosmetic payments, and medical record payments
• Responsible for translating information from patient records to determine medical history
• Responsible for following up claims with health insurance companies
• Responsible for sending refunds to patients for over payments
• Responsible for posting of EOBs
• Understands ERA & EFT set up and maintenance
• Answers calls from patients
• Collects delinquent accounts
• Submit notes to insurance companies when needed
• Follow AAPC and insurance blogs
• Responsible fore working on A/R

Medical billing experience required.

Medical billing with the EMR system experience required.

Modernizing Medicine (EMA) experience strongly preferred.

Dermatology billing experience strongly preferred.
