Malouf Companies Looking for Web Developer at Logan, UT Full Time

Malouf is looking for a passionate and driven Web Developer who isn’t afraid of CSS, can handle the complexities of a multi-lingual codebase to help us drive web initiatives forward across multiple brands. This position involves problem-solving, grit, determination, squeezing every drop of performance out of a site, and can keep an eye toward future-state development.

Our ideal candidate has experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is willing to work on-prem, and has an affinity for speed. Experience with various project frameworks including Astro, React, Stencil, Liquid will give you an edge. Experience with Postgres, MySQL, and GraphQL is also a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate. See below for further details about skills and qualifications.

This is a full-time in-office position at our Logan, UT Headquarters location. General schedule is 8am-5pm Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing development tasks according to a sprint schedule
• Writing code compliant with ADA/WCAG AA 2.1+, CCPA/GDPR/CDPA
• Working cross-functionally with design and content teams to develop user interfaces, reusable components, and changes to data entry
• Partnering with marketing and sales teams to translate business objectives into actionable code
• Collaborating with teammates to create implementation plans and best practices
• Effectively prioritizing work to accommodate ad-hoc support to internal clients
• Contribute quality code as well as documentation
• Participate in code reviews, team trainings, testing, and overall morale

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience developing websites
• Love for the Frontend but willingness to work on the Backend of our stack
• Demonstrated ability to innovate according to dynamic business objectives
• Knowledge of good business practices around tracking time and balancing priorities
• Experience partnering with internal clients and cross-functional teams
• Energized by continued learning opportunities
• Strong professional interpersonal skills
