Manaaki Marine Looking for Marine Engineers (All Levels) at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

We are currently working with multiple companies seeking experienced Marine Engineers for their vessels across the New Zealand domestic coastal and offshore fleet.

Marine Engineers are pivotal in ensuring the efficient mechanical and electrical performance of the vessels’ propulsion, power generation, and ancillary systems.

The Essentials

• You will hold a Maritime New Zealand (MNZ) Certificate of Competency such as
• MEC 1
• MEC 2
• MEC 3
• MEC 4
• Alternatively, a relevant international qualification issued by AMSA or MCA that would be recognised by MNZ would also be considered.
• Current STCW ancillary certificates, relevant to your level
• Current MNZ Certificate of Medical Fitness

About You

• The ability to work well within a team and equally on your own
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Able to undertake a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
