Our client is a globally recognised agency group made up of three business units led by a smart, entrepreneurial, high-performing senior management team with a clear vision, and who are passionate about their success, growth and people.
This is a key role for the group and as the Management Accountant you’ll understand the underlying drivers of the different creative business units to prepare budgets, analyse data and monitor KPI’s through reports and dashboards, and advise senior management on financial decisions to drive business performance and growth. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the financial systems and processes and partner with the business leads to drive profitability, productivity and sales targets.
You’ll have the support of a Finance Manager who manages the day-to-day accounting functions including payroll, AP and AR. You’ll work day-to-day with the CEO, GM and agency leaders and across a variety of financial tasks including preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including analysis through timely and efficient month-end process, as well as balance sheet reconciliations.
Strong communication and people skills are essential, you’ll be adept at building strong working relationships, providing financial guidance and support across all levels of personnel, and facilitating weekly catchups to check and track financial profitability on projects and forecast revenue and expenses. You’ll monitor and manage cashflow forecasts, facilitate the tight management of aged debtors and creditors to ensure financial stability.

You’ll be partnering with an executive leadership team who are commercially saavy, driven and ambitious to maximise the success of the business of design and marketing and you’ll have an optimistic and entrepreneurial mindset and be a clear and confident communicator.
As well as having a minimum of 3-5 years Management Accounting experience you’ll also have ideally worked in a creative agency and/or had experience with job cost accounting. You’ll be working on a sophisticated CRM and project management system (Streamtime) and will need Xero experience and advanced Excel skills.

This is a full-time role however there could be flexibility for the right candidate to work 4 days p/week.
