Summary
As the Sales Data Analyst you will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales and service related data in an ongoing effort to provide insightful reports and dashboards to the sales channel that will increase sales productivity. You will do this by developing and maintaining both standardized and custom reports, conducting key sales analyses, participating in cross functional projects, and supporting sales managers. Furthermore, you will help implement mechanisms to report, analyze and measure progress against sales goals and productivity measures while developing and executing a sales forecasting methodology and process to create visibility into opportunities and risks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Marketing to Synthesize raw data into digestible and actionable information and produce the insights, recommended solutions, and metrics to positively impact the business.
• Identify trends in business performance and highlight key risks and opportunities.
• Provide thought leadership in strategic initiatives and business to accelerate growth, profitability, customer acquisition, and wallet share.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by:

Automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.

• Provide better visibility into data to enable users to make effective, data-driven decisions through management information, KPIs, dashboards and ad-hoc requests.
• Review and deliver CRM data to Sales Management while ensuring quality and consistency.
• Work with Sales Management to develop real-time Team and Individual metric-based assessments and Territorial analytics of sales development

Qualifications

• 10+years relevant work experience.
• Strong working knowledge of data manipulation, data analysis, data visualization, and performing data validations.
• Strong ability to present data into summarized points and relevant chart and graph representations
• Experience working with a CRM
• Experience gathering business requirements and developing scorecards and dashboards to surface meaningful KPIs and actionable intelligence to sales leaders.
• Asset management or financial services industry experience preferred.
• Experience leveraging a variety of business applications to solve problems
