Manning Park Resort Hiring For Night Patrol & Janitor at Manning Park, BC Full Time

We are presently searching for our next great team member as PT Night Patrol & PT Janitorial. If you can provide our staff and guests with a safe experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our team, we want to hear from you.

Night Patrol Responsibilities include:

• Working during the evening and early morning hours
• Patrolling of all buildings and cabins (which includes walking around buildings and checking windows and doors).
• Ensuring there is no loud behavior that would put guests at risk
• Closing down of the pool area at 10pm
• Checking on the ski hill, which includes checking all doors and windows and walking around all buildings
• Checking the maintenance yard, doors, windows on vehicles as well as buildings
• Drive through of staff housing to ensure proper rules of quiet time, etc. are being adhered to
• Providing a detailed report to your manager on a nightly basis
• Reporting any sightings of animals and the time and location
• Properly maintenance of vehicle, and reporting any problems that may occur, immediately

Janitor Responsibilities include:

• To ensure that the lodge, restaurant, banquet rooms, washrooms and hallways are cleaned

• General cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, window cleaning & emptying garbage

• Snow removal from building entrances and other possible outdoor cleaning duties

• Following any Covid-19 protocols for sanitizing specific areas

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Ability to manage your time efficiently
• Work well unsupervised
• Handle basic maintenance and cleaning

• Previous experience as a janitor or custodian

• Good physical condition, as position can be physically demanding

• Excellent communication skills, as well as excellent problem solving abilities

• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests
• Valid and clean driver’s license
