Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of international recruitment and business development strategies.
• Oversee offshore and onshore operations aligned with the International Education Strategy.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with education agents, institutions, and government agencies.
• Collaborate with marketing to design culturally relevant international campaigns.
• Use market research and data insights to inform recruitment strategies and target markets.
• Support the development of articulation agreements, joint programmes, and mobility initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with Te Tiriti o Waitangi, equity goals, and learner-centred practices.
• Provide strategic leadership to a team delivering international growth and engagement.

• Proven leadership in international student recruitment and business development within tertiary education.
• Deep understanding of immigration regulations and international market dynamics.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, and team leadership skills.
• A commitment to inclusive, equity-focused leadership and lifelong learning.
