We provide a future-focused, student-centered education that gets people into great jobs. We are looking for a leader to join us as Head of School – Business and Digital Technologies, reporting to the General Manager – Schools and is based at our Manukau Campus.

We are seeking a visionary people leader with expertise in tertiary teaching and experience in Digital Technologies is a preference. As Head of School – Business and Digital Technologies, you will inspire excellence, drive innovation, and deliver student-centered learning experiences.

In This Pivotal Role, You Will

• Lead and manage a diverse team of educators, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Ideally hold a Masters or PhD in Digital Technologies.
• Ensure academic, commercial, and research excellence.
• Develop and execute strategies that drive growth, enhance research capabilities, and support student success.
• Build meaningful relationships with industry leaders to enhance programme relevance, research impact, and innovation.
• Promote the growth and development of digital technologies in collaboration with sector leaders.
• Encourage and support teaching staff to engage in research, expanding their industry networks and academic contributions.
• Uphold MIT’s values, including engagement with Ngā Kete Wānanga Marae and Pasifika Development Office.
