Offering the highest quality, locally sourced breakfasts, we strive to make our guests’ visits personable and memorable. Tucked in the hills of downtown Steamboat Springs, we invite guests at the Mariposa Lodge to dwell in the beauty of our little mountain town and indulge in the local ingredients and hand-crafted breakfasts we proudly serve every morning.

At the Mariposa, we prioritize quality and experience. We want every guest to walk away feeling refreshed and surprised by the exceptional care they received while staying with us. To achieve this, we are growing our team to include an additional breakfast attendant/innkeeper. We are looking for someone who loves hospitality. Someone who enjoys connecting with people through conversation and acts as an advocate for the Steamboat Springs community and Mariposa Lodge. Possible candidates should have a background in hand-crafted meal preparation, plating, and service. Additionally, we are looking for someone who, when needed, can help attend to basic cleaning tasks around the lodge, maintaining a clean, welcome space for each and every guest.

// What you should expect to do:
– Setting table for guests
– Pre-breakfast preparation + planning
– Preparing hand-crafted breakfasts of exceptional quality day of
– Maintaining and tending to the cleanliness and organization of the shared kitchen space
– Maintaining and tending to the cleanliness and organization of the lodge common spaces
– Maintaining and tending to the cleanliness and organization of lodge’s outside spaces
– Conversing with guests and maintaining a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
– Hosting breakfasts of various groups and establishing a comfortable atmosphere

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
