The life of our Housekeeper:
Provide high standards of guest services and housekeeping for the four residences, LakeHouse on Green Bay, Pelican House, Vineyard Cottages, and Naramata Residence

Run regular errands such as buying groceries and supplies;

Perform all cleaning duties to exceed standards and expectations

Maintain all rooms in terms of linens, cleaning, and dusting. Sort, count and mark clean linens, and store them in linen closets. Launder and press Terrace Restaurant linens as required

Prepare and serve continental breakfast when required. Ensure fresh coffee is made, hot water for tea is ready, and assorted items are displayed when necessary

Re-code entrance pads weekly as required to maintain the security of Green Bay Lake House and Pelican House

Ensure all buildings are locked as per security procedures

Be aware of bookings and associated responsibilities at the Green Bay Lake House and Pelican House. This includes room assignments, welcome package preparation, check-in, check-out, and any other duties related to guests.

Assist in general inventory maintenance, reporting to Manager, Winery Services to ensure sufficient inventories and adequate supplies are available and restock when necessary (groceries, glasses, linens, writing supplies, silverware, bathroom and kitchen supplies)

Your perceptivity allows you to anticipate the needs of your guests before they do, and your keen observational skills make you a master of the houses, identifying any flaw or maintenance required before it becomes an issue.

You have a genuinely warm presence, drive for excellence, and are a master multi-tasker. No job is too small, and you believe the experience lies in the details

1-3 years in the housekeeping industry minimum required

Experience in Relais and Chateaux properties is considered an asset

Focus on exemplary gracious and discrete guest service

A strong work ethic required

Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently or in a team environment

Proficient in MS Office

Previous experience in administration, reporting, or inventory maintenance is an asset
