Marklund is hiring a full-time Recruiter for our Day School in Bloomingdale and Geneva!

Marklund is seeking a full-time energetic, self-motivated professional to join our Human Resources team. The full-time Recruiter position requires travel between the Geneva and Bloomingdale facilities. Hybrid option available with two work from home days a week after completion of the 90 day training period. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.

Who We Are:

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. With three residential locations – the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, the Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children and young adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on the autism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program at each site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside at Marklund and those who come in from the community.

Responsibilities include:

• Adheres to Marklund hiring process for each position assigned
• Maintains and posts jobs on posting sources like college boards
• Conducts phone screens and interviews as assigned
• Sources candidates to fill assigned positions
• Prepares status reports of recruitment activity
• Manage and build school talent pipeline
• Attend recruitment events
• Travels to different Marklund facilities as assigned
