POSITION SUMMARY

Support the Brand, Marketing and Digital organization on implementation of marketing strategies. Responsible for executing marketing/digital tactics as assigned based on key initiatives and strategies. Verify that all activities are in alignment with marketing functions, and properties are provided the support needed for successful implementation of the marketing plans across the region. Assist Account Managers and Destination Managers in the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that leverage Marriott’s marketing engine. Relay a consistent marketing message from Marriott International, Loyalty and Brand to the property level while addressing the unique business needs for each hotel in their manager’s portfolio.

Marketing

• Aid in development and distribution of marketing campaigns by liaising with Account Manager/Destination Manager and revenue management partners to compile and submit campaign details to applicable channels.
• Support property campaigns with promotion/offer submission to Marriott email channels.
• Audit property websites and campaigns for correct information on a regular basis and provide updates where needed.
• Support property business goals by aiding the sales team in development of collateral.
• Partner with Creative Center of Excellence (CCOE) to develop creative materials to support hotel campaigns by collecting asset requirements from vendors, outlining creative briefs, submitting to CCOE and aid in review/feedback process after creative development.
• Partner with Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) to update hotel website content, including submitting informational updates, photography updates, on-demand landing page creation and module development.
• Partner with DCOE to update eChannel partner sites and tourism partner sites with relevant information and content updates.
• Assist Account Managers in reviewing social media content calendars and provide insight of property current events to social media team.
• Manage the digital asset (photography and video) submission process, including receiving images from photographers correctly loading assets in Marriott’s internal asset management system and partnering with DCOE to distribute content to hotel websites.
• Collect, review and submit invoices for property marketing efforts and manage submission process in the internal invoice processing system.
• Track hotel budget process by reviewing property marketing budget forecasts to verify invoice allocation is correct and providing to the account manager for review.
• Prepare marketing promotion/campaign reports for review using internal reporting tools.
• Support account managers by adding relevant details to property marketing portals including renovation details, property goals, creative examples, call notes and related items.
• Promote awareness of brand image/voice internally and externally.
• Generate basic reports or decks for property meetings based on tools/templates.
• Coordinate meeting agendas, logistics, minutes/recaps.
• Coordinate own travel and complete expense reports.
• Verify execution of agreed upon tasks.
• Stay up to date on marketing/digital trends.
• Attend and review internal training materials as needed.
