In this role, you will be responsible for the duties:

• Support the achievement of high levels of client satisfaction through effective administrative support of client executives.
• Assist senior client executives with the development, implementation and management of risk management and domestic and international insurance programs which accurately address client needs.
• Assist senior client executives with the development and maintenance of effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers through regular meetings and liaison.
• Ensure that accurate up to date records on all clients are maintained at all times.
• Develop a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients.
• Sole servicing of small client accounts under supervision of senior members of the team.
• Adhere strictly to the Company’s quality practices and other systems and procedures.
• Comply fully with the Company’s errors and omissions avoidance policy.
• Other duties as may be required from time to time.

We are looking for someone with:

• Knowledge and experience in insurance will be highly regarded.
• Ability to build working relationships at all levels including internal and external stakeholders.
• Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities.
• Attention to detail, time management and organisation skills essential.
• The skill to complete administrative tasks quickly and accurately.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) – General Insurance Strand or studying toward.
