We are looking for an ecommerce beast – someone who dreams at night about things
like conversion funnels, Facebook advertising, AdWords, email campaigns, and calls toaction. You have a proven track record of predicting and capitalizing on online salestrends, trying the latest strategies, and brainstorming new ways to generate traffic orconvert our existing traffic more effectively. You pride yourself on your ability togenerate results – and results means conversions.We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to take whatthey’ve learned in their career and apply it to a cutting-edge opportunity. You’ll workacross our entire brand portfolio, and will get the opportunity to work on real consumerbrands sold through a variety of channels including retail stores, our own dotcoms, andmarket places.This is a chance to move the needle and do work that matters.You’ll work directly with the CMO, with the goal of learning to own the entire eCommerce function over the next 3 years.Had You Been With Us Last Month, You Would Have:
Led the ground-up, mobile-optimized redesign of our Shopify store, including copy and customer research to produce conversion-focused landing pages
Launched a $1000/day Facebook ad campaign, including A/B testing copy and ad images/ video for maximum click-through and conversion.
Scripted 3 TikTok ads for our video editor. Tested them and learnt that the initial versions didn’t perform well. Attended a copywriting class and TikTok workshop. Apply learnings to create a new version that had a 30% increase in CTR, shared learnings, and best practices with the team.
Designed a post-purchase email flow to optimize post-purchase upsell. Worked with BI to create a dashboard to measure effectiveness based on 90days LTV.
Created dashboards to track marketing efficiency and contribution margins to present to the CEO
The Best Candidates for This Job Will Have:
Experience in and an obsession with DTC eCommerce – you should be familiar with best practices and keep up with industry trends. You probably have a favorite eCommerce-centric podcast.
Strong copywriting principles. You understand how to communicate (and script) in a way that attracts attention, captures interests, builds desire, and compels action.
Experience with driving and converting paid traffic through Google AdWords & Facebook Ads.
Fluency in Microsoft Excel, data literacy, and eCommerce economics.
A strong bias toward execution. You love working independently and thrive when given freedom and flexibility. You don’t need a babysitter
