Established Creditor Rights Law Firm is seeking a Data Entry Specialist/Bookkeeper in our Finance Department responsible for multiple tasks including but not limited to:

• Keep track and process accounts and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and results needed
• Willing to cross train for other duties in the finance department

Requirements:

• Understanding of and compliance with basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and financial and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Proficient in problem solving, analysis and reporting
• Customer service orientation and written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• 1-year minimum experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
