LOCATION: Eastern

DUTIES

The A-Repairman-Bus must be qualified to, inspect, make repairs, both major and minor, to a motor coach, its units, diagnose existing problems for correction; operate emergency trucks, handle situations involving interference with MTA operations; or being qualified in the overhauling of vehicles or components, or other devices, as necessary, shall overhaul and/or weld and/or perform machine services and/or metal spray and/or replace units, as required; and being qualified to inspect, replace, repair, maintain, diagnose, correct conditions, and perform other jobs of a similar nature as may be required, with the aid of minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Applicant must be able to perform the duties as outlined above.

EXAMINATION

If you meet the qualifications, you will be notified to take the Hands-on examination, date to be determined at 1515 Washington Blvd Baltimore, Md 21230.

Licenses & Certifications

Must possess a current valid Class “A” Learners Permit and Valid DOT Medical Certification at time of hire /transfer.

ELIGIBILITY

Consideration will be given to all qualified members of A.T.U., Local 1300, as outlined below:

1. Any qualified member of Local 1300 now employed as a “B” and “C” Repairman in Group #5,

2. Any qualified member of Local 1300 now employed as a “A” “B” & “C”-Repairman in Group # 2 & 3

3. Any qualified member of Local 1300 now employed in the Non-Operating Dept.

4. Any qualified member of Local 1300 now employed in the Operating Dept.

5. All other MTA employees
